You will need:

  • Señor's Baguette Original Bread Pre-Mix 480g
  • Included Cup
  • Included Yeast Sachet
  • Water
  • Vegetable Oil

Instructions:

  1. In a large mixing bowl, combine the premix and yeast. Mix well to combine.
  2. Fill the cup with tepid water (38°C) to the absolute brim and combine with the dry ingredients.
  3. Once together, fill the cup with vegetable oil to the green line and pour over the dough.
  4. Knead until the dough is smooth and elastic.
  5. Place the dough in a greased bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let it rise in a warm place (26°C and above preferably) for 1 hour, or until doubled in size.
  6. Punch down the dough to remove all air pockets and roll the dough out with a rolling pin to form a large rectangle (60cm x 15cm).
  7. Roll it into a large and tight cylinder (15cm long) and pinch the seams shut.
  8. Add it to a bread tin greased in butter, place it into a plastic bag (so the dough doesn't touch anything when rising) and let it rise in a warm place for 45 minutes.
  9. While you wait, preheat the oven to 360°F (180°C) in a convection/fan-forced oven or 390°F (200°C) in a conventional oven. 
  10. After 45 minutes, bake the bread for 35 minutes, or until the crust is golden brown.
  11. Once removed, let it rest in the bread tin for 5 minutes, then remove the bread and let it rest for 1 hour.
